W. Chris Wrenn, CFP®
As a Financial Strategist, Chris integrates client solutions across the financial planning and investment management areas of Providence Capital Advisors. Chris builds in-depth financial plans for clients and helps to oversee the investment strategies that are outside of the firm’s core portfolios including alternative investments and employer-sponsored retirement plans. His areas of expertise include a variety of personal finance topics, macro-economic analysis and investment strategy.
Prior to joining Providence Capital Advisors, Chris served as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor at Northwestern Mutual. In this role, he devised and implemented investment strategies that complemented the financial planning initiatives of the firm. His duties included portfolio construction, investment selection, and client consultation, as well as operational tasks including trade execution and compliance.
Through this experience, Chris garnered a unique understanding of both the investment management and financial planning areas of the practice, which serves him well in his role as Financial Strategist at Providence Capital Advisors.
